Hi Reader, After last week’s email, some of you shared such thoughtful comments. One person compared repeating what works to putting your favorite song on repeat - you always hear something new, but the melody stays the same. 🎵 Someone else shared how they start with 15 minutes instead of 30 when building a walking habit, making it more manageable. And one reminded me that, yes, sometimes we love to complicate things with drama. (Guilty as charged 🤣). It made me realize something: We often do the exact same thing with self-care. We overcomplicate it. We think it has to be a perfect morning routine, a spa day, or a long yoga session. And then when we can’t live up to that version… we don’t do it at all. But here’s the truth: Self-care doesn’t need to be complex. It just needs to be consistent. For me, that looks like my golden rule: 10 minutes. Ten minutes outside walking is enough to tick my #walkingeverydamnday box. And I use the same rule for my mornings: 10 minutes of reading, journaling, or meditation is enough to start my day with intention. If I want to keep going, great. But if not, I’ve already succeeded. Because the minimum counts. And often, the minimum is what keeps us moving forward. So here’s your reminder: Self-care isn’t about big, complicated plans. It’s about choosing something simple, doable, and repeating it, until it becomes part of you. Call to action: 💬 What’s your version of “10 minutes”? Hit reply and tell me the simplest self-care practice you can put on repeat. Sending you fall greetings from Canada 🍁 Peggy xo P.S. View in browser Hi Reader, On one of my morning walks this week, I came across a rock with a quote painted on it: “Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.” W. James And this inspired today's email because the way you prioritize makes a huge difference in how you handle deadlines. Because the quickest path to overwhelm isn’t a full schedule… It’s a schedule where everything feels equally important. And the past months reminded me of that in a very real way. With the start of a new...

View in browser Hi Reader, Last week, I promised I’d walk you through some stories and tips about planning. So, let’s start with a confession: I used to tell myself a very convincing lie… 👉 “I work better under pressure.” It sounded good.
