Hi Reader I wanted to share a story with you, one that made me think and reflect, yep, I still do that đ I recently watched an interview with an Olympic athlete who had just finished a marathon. She came in the top 20âan incredible accomplishmentâbut what stood out to me was how she spoke about the race. The course was grueling, and at times, she had to slow her pace. There were even moments when she walked. But despite these pauses, she finished strong and was proud of her performance. It made me wonder⌠why is it that as entrepreneurs, we feel like we must go at 150% all the time to feel worthy? Why do we think slowing down is a failure? If an Olympic athlete can slow down during the race of her life and still feel accomplished, why canât we? As business owners, itâs easy to get caught up in the hustle, pushing ourselves to the limit day after day. We think that unless weâre constantly moving forward at full speed, weâre somehow falling behind. But just like that athlete, there are moments when we need to slow down, catch our breath, and trust that itâs part of running our best race. Slowing down doesnât mean youâre doing less. It means youâre being intentional about how you show up for yourself and your clients. It allows you to give your best, not just your busiest. And when you give your best, you show up in top shape for the long haul ⨠I would love to encourage you to think about where you might need to slow down in your business. What would happen if you allowed yourself to take a breath, walk for a bit, and still trust that youâre on track for success? You might just find that in those moments of pause, youâre setting yourself up to run the best race of your life. Hereâs to showing up for ourselves with strength and grace. Peggy P.S. Here is me running the best race of my life every weekend đ |

View in browser Hi Reader Iâm back home in South Africa after an incredible holiday in Madagascar, where nature is stunningly untouched, and life seems to have a whole different rhythm. Itâs a place where hunter-gatherer communities still thrive, and just 200 meters from our lodge, a fishing village lives completely offline. The kids there played soccer at low tide, learned to paddle traditional canoes, and even spent time just⌠being bored. And honestly? I couldnât help but wonder who might...
