ββView in browserβ Hi Reader What a week it's been π I've been following a very interesting 5-day storytelling challenge! I love listening to and telling stories, hence my love for reading I guess π I however never thought that storytelling could help me out in my business in the way Susan Payton shared. Such a fun and more ME way to connect with my audience, with YOU! A question I get asked quite often is: "What brought you to become a Visionary Planning Coach?". Depending on who asks the answer could go two ways. One would be an awkward moment of silence and then lots of one-syllable words. Something in line with Gosh, Euh,... the other option would be: "That is a very long story to share, I'm sure you don't have time to listen to that!". Does any of the two options sound familiar to you? I sure do hope I'm not alone π Happy to say I got over that now ππ» This is the story we crafted together ππΌ "The moment I realized that "just winging it" wouldn't get me where I wanted to be, I changed my approach to running my business, it changed my life!
β
My business was doing fine, nothing more, nothing less, just doing fine. I always told myself that I wasnβt in for the money, I would let others go after that 6-figure business. What a lie I was telling myself π«£ I am more ambitious than "just doing fine"!
β
Because just doing fine also meant staying miles away from reaching my goals and fulfilling my dreams. My biggest value in life is to live in more freedom. Doing what I want to do when I want to, walking the path of financial freedom, and working from anywhere in the world!
β
My initial feelings after I had my big aha moment were those of guilt, insecurity, and shame. Did I just waste these past years?
β
Hereβs the thing. It would have been easy to throw in the towel but I didnβt. Instead, I went to the drawing board and created a step-by-step strategy. I got clear on my vision, created a plan, and celebrated my small wins!
β
A strategy that not only works for me but also for my coaching clients around the world! For those who find themselves in the messy middle and are ready to break through that glass ceiling and level up!"
A big win for me to be able to condense my story into just a couple of paragraphs π One that I would love to celebrate with YOU by opening up four 1:1 coaching spots! Only for those who are ready to break through that glass ceiling and leave that messy middle behind! For the BRAVE and BOLD πͺπΌ βBook your FREE 15-minute call today, so we can see if we are a good match! By the way, I would LOVE to hear YOUR story! View in browser Hi Reader, Last week, I shared the story of how a single phone check derailed my whole morning routine. It ended with me listening to some random stranger's music choice, out loud, at the gym. Today, I want to take that thread a little further. Because every morning, as part of that same routine, I also read what are called Afformations. Not Affirmations. Afformations π€ (Credit to Noah St. John, who coined the concept back in 1997.) The difference is small. But powerful....
View in browser Hi Reader, My morning routine is religious to me. Before I get pulled in a hundred directions, before the day takes over, before the emails start lining upβ¦ I take time for myself. A little yoga. Meditation. Some reading. Journaling. Three mornings a week, the gym. A short walk after. (Yes, before you ask. I get up really early π ) I learned a long time ago that if I don't do these things first thing, I just don't get around to them. The day eats them. So I protect that window....
View in browser Hi Reader, Last Saturday, I joined the brand new Beban Parkrun here in Nanaimo for the first time. I'm not new to Parkrun. We used to go regularly when we lived in South Africa, and I still have some lovely memories from those mornings πβοΈ This is me ππΌ, 10 years ago with Wis (the then pup of very close friends of mine), you can tell from my red face this picture was taken after the Parkrun π But this time was a little different. I'm slowly getting back to jogging after...
