โโView in browserโ Hi Reader What a week it's been ๐ I've been following a very interesting 5-day storytelling challenge! I love listening to and telling stories, hence my love for reading I guess ๐ I however never thought that storytelling could help me out in my business in the way Susan Payton shared. Such a fun and more ME way to connect with my audience, with YOU! A question I get asked quite often is: "What brought you to become a Visionary Planning Coach?". Depending on who asks the answer could go two ways. One would be an awkward moment of silence and then lots of one-syllable words. Something in line with Gosh, Euh,... the other option would be: "That is a very long story to share, I'm sure you don't have time to listen to that!". Does any of the two options sound familiar to you? I sure do hope I'm not alone ๐ Happy to say I got over that now ๐๐ป This is the story we crafted together ๐๐ผ "The moment I realized that "just winging it" wouldn't get me where I wanted to be, I changed my approach to running my business, it changed my life!
โ
My business was doing fine, nothing more, nothing less, just doing fine. I always told myself that I wasnโt in for the money, I would let others go after that 6-figure business. What a lie I was telling myself ๐ซฃ I am more ambitious than "just doing fine"!
โ
Because just doing fine also meant staying miles away from reaching my goals and fulfilling my dreams. My biggest value in life is to live in more freedom. Doing what I want to do when I want to, walking the path of financial freedom, and working from anywhere in the world!
โ
My initial feelings after I had my big aha moment were those of guilt, insecurity, and shame. Did I just waste these past years?
โ
Hereโs the thing. It would have been easy to throw in the towel but I didnโt. Instead, I went to the drawing board and created a step-by-step strategy. I got clear on my vision, created a plan, and celebrated my small wins!
โ
A strategy that not only works for me but also for my coaching clients around the world! For those who find themselves in the messy middle and are ready to break through that glass ceiling and level up!"
A big win for me to be able to condense my story into just a couple of paragraphs ๐ One that I would love to celebrate with YOU by opening up four 1:1 coaching spots! Only for those who are ready to break through that glass ceiling and leave that messy middle behind! View in browser Hi Reader, Last week, I shared the story of my old bicycle and how a quick visit to the bike shop turned my sweaty 40-minute commute into a smooth 26-minute one. But something else happened that I really didn't see coming. Honestly, the reason I decided to cycle to the Chamber of Commerce wasn't profound. It was practical. I knew that if I didn't build movement into my day, I simplyโฆ wouldn't. (Anyone else? ๐ ) So cycling became my one-hour daily guarantee. But what surprised...
View in browser Hi Reader, Three weeks ago, I started my MBA internship at the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce. (And no, before you ask, the electric bike still hasn't happened ๐ ) The office is about 7 km from home, so I figuredโฆ time to dust off the old bicycle. Pedal power straight from the legs. How hard could it be? Wellโฆ let me paint the picture. Out of 24 gears, I could only use about 1/3 of them. And in case you've never been here, Nanaimo is not flat. I needed every single one of...
View in browser Hi Reader, Last Sunday, we went sailing for the first time of the season. And let me tell youโฆ It is not just about raising the sail and sitting back to enjoy. You don't just hop on a boat, point it where you want to go, and ride the breeze. (At least, not if you actually want to get somewhere ๐ ) You're constantly adjusting. Reading the wind. Trimming the sails. Tacking left, tacking right. Watching what's coming and shifting before it hits. Sailing, it turns out, is one long...
