Hi Reader As I mentioned last week, I like to ace my MBA. (Yes, probably some old beliefs popping up there — hey, I’m human too. That’s why I get coached as well 😏) But here’s the thing: In some areas, I’m perfectly fine being a C student. A few weeks ago, I went to an escape room with my teammates. We didn’t get out in time. (And no, they don’t leave you locked in forever. 😉) And you know what? I was okay with it. Because the goal wasn’t to win — it was to have fun. To bond. To create a stronger team dynamic. I’m also totally fine being a C student in other areas of my life. Not everything needs to be an A+. The real power? Knowing where you want to excel — and where it’s totally okay to just enjoy the experience. (By the way, I have to give a little credit here — this beautiful perspective came from a lovely walk with my neighbour. Sometimes the simplest conversations bring the biggest insights 💛) 👉🏼 Tiny task for this week: Pick one area where you’re giving yourself unnecessary pressure, and permit yourself to be a C student there. Sending you love from Canada 🇨🇦 Peggy P.S. If you need someone to assist you with letting go of perfectionism, my 1:1 Forward Focus coaching might be your next step. 😉 By the way, I've got a very special offer for you if you are interested in the 1:1 coaching. Just hit the reply button with Tell Me More, and I'll fill you in 👌 |

View in browser Hi Reader I'm sure that you can relate to the fact that some of the easiest conversations happen when you least expect them. Like sitting on an airplane, nowhere to go for a couple of hours. Years ago, when I was still living in South Africa, I flew from Cape Town to Nelspruit. An older gentleman was seated next to me. We exchanged the usual polite nods, but the conversation didn’t start until we were about to take off. I noticed he seemed a bit nervous. My curious self...

View in browser Hi Reader You might have seen it pass by on social media, but last week I was invited to lead a workshop for a summer leadership camp with high school students. (Yes, real teens. In real life. With real opinions.) And YES, it made me a bit nervous 😬 Theme? “How to stay sustainable as a future leader in a fast-paced world.” Let me tell you, it was awesome! Even though a few kids dozed off during the workshop. 😅 (And no, I didn’t take it personally. Testing authority of their...
