It’s a special day for me today – not only is it my birthday, but it also marks the start of an exciting new chapter in my life. After months of preparation, I'm thrilled to announce that I'm moving to Canada! 🇨🇦 🐻

On the 18th of November, I'll be embarking on a journey that will take me 40 hours, through three flights, one ferry, and finally to my new home on Vancouver Island. This beautiful place will be my base for the next two years while I pursue my MBA at Vancouver Island University. 🌊🐋

Yes, I’m going back to university! Starting January 2, 2025, I’ll dive into my studies to grow as a business coach and as a forever learner. Though I won’t have my MBA by my 50th birthday, I’ll certainly be well on my way!

Last June, I had the privilege to visit Vancouver Island University, and since then, I've been eagerly counting the days until this moment. There was just a loooooot of paperwork to be sorted out 🤨 But, all those boxes have been ticked ✔️

Now, you may be wondering, what does this mean for you? Well, nothing really changes! I’m still fully dedicated to Visionary Women, Forward Focus - my 1:1 coaching program, and my workshops (both in-person and virtual)!

And, I’ll still be exploring my backyard (although it will look a bit different 😊) and sharing my stories on Instagram and Facebook – so stay tuned for some Pacific Northwest adventures! The only difference? The giraffes 🦒🦒 will have to make room for orcas and whales. 🐋✨ And, with any luck, I’ll be spotting bears 🐻 from a safe distance!

Even though it will be my second time making the hop across the pond (I moved from Belgium 🇧🇪 to South Africa 🇿🇦 in 2015), it’s just as exciting as the first time. Thank you for all the love and support – I can’t wait to share this next adventure with you. 🎉
