A Gentle Ending Before a New Beginning ✨

Hi Reader,

Last week, I shared how Black Friday overwhelm pushed me into a much-needed moment of reflection, a pause to reconnect with my values and how I want to show up.

Well… that reflection didn’t stop there.

A few days later, I had a conversation with dear friends about letting go, and someone shared something I had heard before but never really felt until now:

2025 is a Year Nine. A year of completion. 2026 is a Year One. A fresh start.

Now, I’m not an expert in numerology (far from it 😅), and some of these things fly right over my head… hey, you can't be good at everything 🤪

But something about that message landed deeply.
Because this past Tuesday, I closed a chapter.

I held the final coaching call for Visionary Women, my program, my creation, my heart project.

And it was bittersweet.
Beautiful.
Emotional.
And also… aligned with my values!

With my internship starting in May, the final stretch of my MBA, and new opportunities opening up, I knew I couldn’t hold onto everything without compromising the quality or joy behind it. And Visionary Women deserved to end on a note of intention, not exhaustion.

So what’s next?

Well, I'm not entirely sure, but I do know that I’m focusing on:

✨ finishing the MBA strong
✨ preparing for a meaningful internship that aligns with my values
✨ creating space for whatever wants to unfold in 2026
✨ and I have a few wishes I may or may not have shared with Santa 🎅

So before I sign off for the year, I want to leave you with one simple question:

What are you ready to release before this year ends? And what new beginning are you whispering into the universe for 2026?

Because I’ll be taking a long (and very needed) holiday break, and you won’t see me in your inbox until early January.

Until then...

✨ May your festive season be warm and bright
✨ May you rest deeply
✨ May you feel grounded, hopeful, and open to what’s next
✨ And thank you, truly, for being here, reading my stories, and sharing this journey with me.

It’s wonderful to have you around.

I wish you a festive season that is gentle, joyful, and meaningful, in whatever way you need it most.

Sending you lots of love from Canada 🍁

Peggy

P.S. If you happen to know of an internship opportunity where entrepreneurship, leadership, and community impact come together, I would love to hear from you. I’m beginning my search for May 2026, and any leads or connections are truly appreciated. 🌿

View in browser Hi Reader, The past few weeks have been... well, filled 😅, and I was reminded, in a very practical way, why my planner matters so much. I’ve just stepped into a new role at Vancouver Island University as an entrepreneurship advisor with the SPARK program while remaining fully immersed in my MBA. On top of that, I’ve also officially started my entrepreneur consulting business (more on that soon 👀). In my role with SPARK VIU, I support students, early-stage founders, and...

Now, on to something I wanted to share with...

View in browser Hi Reader, Last Friday, the second Friday of January, is also known as Quitter’s Day. The day most people quietly let go of their New Year’s resolutions, yes, it's a thing 🙃 I wrote a full blog post about why this happens (you can read it here if you’re curious). But what really stood out to me this week wasn’t the statistics, it was the conversations. In several coaching sessions and in a few casual chats, the same theme kept popping up: 👉 we often forget why we started in...
