I just deleted more than 40% of subscribers on my e-mail list and it felt good!

Hi Reader

March in the Visionary Women program was all about decluttering. Not just your drawers or your desktop (though those count too), but simplifying your business — your systems, your subscriptions, your thoughts.

And let me tell you, I’ve been practicing what I preach.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve:

📩 Unsubscribed from over 40 newsletters that no longer resonate

🛑 Cancelled subscriptions and plans that didn’t have a strong ROI

🤔 Reviewed my credit cards and insurances (turns out I was paying double in some cases!)

📝 Decluttered my to-do list — yep, those tasks that had been haunting me for months.

I asked myself: Do they still matter? Do I need help? Or is it just not the right time?

But the boldest move?

I deleted over 40% of my email list subscribers.

No joke. Poof — gone 🪄

Okay, okay — technically, my automation tool did the deleting 😅

But still, I made the decision to activate the automation. And it felt amazing. 🙌

In the past, I used to feel nervous about people unsubscribing and probably about letting go in general.

But now? I see it differently.

Just like I outgrew certain subscriptions, other people have outgrown mine.

There was a time they said yes to Backyard Gossip — and now it’s their time to let go.

And that’s okay.

Now I know these emails are landing in the inboxes of people who actually want to read them. People like you. 💛

So, I have to ask…

👉 What do you need to declutter?

👉 What are you scared of letting go of?

Whether it’s your business, your routines, or your offers — letting go is where clarity begins.

P.S. Letting go doesn’t mean giving up — it means making space for what truly matters. You can read all about it in my blog post. If your business feels cluttered or heavy right now, it might be time for a little spring cleaning (no matter what season you’re in). I’d love to help you clear the path. View in browser Hi Reader, Last week, you didn’t hear from me.Not because I forgot. Not because I didn’t have something to say. But because I felt overwhelmed, the kind of overwhelmed that sneaks up quietly. Black Friday and Cyber Monday took over my inbox.Hundreds of emails, deals, countdowns, pressure, noise. And something about it pulled me into a pause. We’re living in a world that invites us to care about sustainability, minimalism, and slowing down, yet at the same time bombards us with...

View in browser Hi Reader, On one of my morning walks this week, I came across a rock with a quote painted on it: “Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.” W. James And this inspired today's email because the way you prioritize makes a huge difference in how you handle deadlines. Because the quickest path to overwhelm isn’t a full schedule… It’s a schedule where everything feels equally important. And the past months reminded me of that in a very real way. With the start of a new...

View in browser Hi Reader, If I had to describe the past ten days in one word, it would be: conversations. Between🎓 MBA team assignments🎤 planning the Build Your Personal Brand event🧭 Career Studio projects📚 French classes🎒 new semester chaos🌿 coaching calls…and regular life on top of it all, it’s been a week full of communication. But not just communication with others. This week reminded me how much of leadership starts with the conversations we have with ourselves. Let me share a moment I...
