Hi Reader How are you doing? I've been enjoying my first summer in Canada. Planning very carefully so that I can keep that balance between exploring the Island, connection and all those MBA assignments 🌿 In between all that, one recent conversation really stayed with me, an expert I interviewed for my MBA shared something about AI that made me pause… and reflect. Let’s be honest, talking to AI can feel safe. You ask a question. You get an answer. No judgment. No discomfort. No follow-up. And I get it. I use ChatGPT too. (It even helps me draft these emails 😉) But, during that interview, I heard something that hit hard: “AI will drastically change the coaching and consulting world, and replace more jobs than we think.” It stuck with me, mainly because he is a business consultant working with tech start-ups, so he's not just some random person. Because yes, the pace of AI integration is a bit scary. And as a coach, I’ve thought a lot about what this means. Here’s where I landed:
Because when you talk to a real coach, we don’t just answer your questions. We ask the ones you’ve been avoiding. The ones that:
Over the past weeks, this series has explored the power of connection: 👀 To yourself 👋 To strangers on your path 👣 To someone walking beside you This week, it’s about the connection that makes all the difference: The one that makes you stop hiding from your truth. Because let’s face it, ChatGPT won’t call you out, unless you prompt it with the "right" questions. But a good coach will walk with you through it. This week I would love to invite you to have the kind of conversation that doesn’t let you off the hook. And if you don't have someone that will challenge you, I’m here for you 😊 Hit reply and let's get this conversation going! Sending you love from Canada 🇨🇦 Peggy You can book a complimentary discovery call to explore how coaching can support your next step. No pressure, just a conversation. 😊 |

View in browser Hi Reader, I’ve been a bit quiet the past couple of weeks. Buried in tests and assignments, with two more tests, a final exam, and a presentation remaining, I can finally see the finish line of the classroom portion of my MBA journey. In the meantime, there has been plenty of time to reflect. So… not the most exciting stories to share these past weeks 🤣 But a conversation at dinner a few days ago has really stayed with me. We were having dinner with friends in their 70s. Avid...
View in browser Hi Reader, This week I was reminded (again) of something we all know… but still need to experience over and over: Stepping out of your comfort zone gets easier. Not the first time though 😅 Earlier this week, I attended a leadership series event organized by the Chamber of Commerce. By the way, with a very powerful keynote speaker! And yes, I still go to these events on my own. Because I realized early on in life that if I had to wait for a friend to join, I would still be...
View in browser Hi Reader, Last week I spent a week skiing in Whistler, yes, I (we) had a wonderful time, and I was even in the Olympic Spirit 😊 ⛷️ And it reminded me of something I hadn’t thought about in a while: the joy of being a beginner again. Besides the two days of skiing last year, the last time I went skiing for a whole week was in 2014 😅 Over the past year, I’ve been embracing that beginner mindset a lot, mostly thanks to my MBA journey. When you’re learning constantly, you’re...
